Highlights

2017-2018 Performance Season

 

Vistas 
Nov. 10, 11, and 16-18, 2017 at 8:00 p.m.
Nov. 12, 2017 at 2:30 p.m.
Vistas features the Cleveland premiere of Bamboo Prayer by New York-based choreographer Nai-Ni Chen.  Gary Galbraith, in collaboration with the Interactive Commons at CWRU, premieres his new media-infused choreographic work incorporating live holographic imagery.  Other highlights include the CWRU premiere of Shannon Sterne’s foreboding Contagion and the return of Karen Potter’s myth-inspired The Pleiades and Galbraith’s visually rich Strange Gardens.

Mar. 22-24, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. and Mar. 25, 2018 at 2:30 p.m.
Dance works by MFA candidates Carrie Langguth and Karen Opper.

MaDaCol
Fall 2017:  Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at 8:00 p.m. & Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. 
Spring 2018:  Apr. 19, 20 at 8 p.m. & Apr. 21 at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
MaDaCol (Mather Dance Collective) is CWRU’s lively dance ensemble featuring members of the university and Cleveland communities. 
 
Dance Season Event Tickets and Reservations
Tickets for Vistas and for the Spring thesis concert Infinite Directions may be purchased (cash or check only) at the door prior to each performance: $7 for students with ID, $10 for adults 60+ and university Faculty/Staff, and $15 for general admission. Reservations are recommended, and may be made by calling (216) 368-5246, or online at dance.case.edu/reservations.  
 
All tickets for MaDaCol (Mather Dance Collective) are $7 general admission and purchased at Mather Dance Center prior to each performance.  Reservations are not available for these events.
