Various forms of financial assistantships are available to both undergraduates and graduate students.


Undergraduate Scholarship

**NEW SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INCOMING FRESHMAN!**

The Office of Enrollment has made six new scholarships available for incoming freshman majoring in Theater or Dance. The amount of the scholarships range from $16,000 to $20,000 each and are merit-based not need-based. To compete for one of these scholarships, the prospective student must apply to the university by the traditonal route, and also make an appointment to audition in the case of acting and dance concentrations, and present portfolios in the case of scenic, costume, or lighting designers. Auditions are conducting in the fall semester of each year.

Graduate Student Support

Teaching assistantships have been available and are appointed to qualified candidates usually in their second or third year of study. A limited number of tuition waivers, stipends, other scholarships, loan programs, and other financial assistance are also available. Graduate students will be assigned various responsibilities concomitant with tuition waiver and stipends awards.
