Kathryn Karipides
Kathryn Karipides is the Samuel B. and Virginia C. Knight Professor Emerita. Through her vision, the old Mather Gymnasium evolved into the Mather Dance Center of CWRU where she and her colleague Kelly Holt nurtured and trained several generations of dancers and choreographers. Since her retirement in 1998, she has continued her advocacy of dance by serving on numerous (local, state and national) committees and boards.
