Dance department reprises pioneering hologram performance “Imagined Odyssey”

Case Western Reserve’s Department of Dance reprises its breakthrough original work, “Imagined Odyssey,” this fall. Last year’s sold-out performances drew national attention from the dance community and technology companies alike.

This November, the department will feature the dance performance again as part of its fall concert, “Mosaics.” The show’s dreamlike holograms will be brought to life by Microsoft HoloLens, a mixed-reality headset that each of the 80 audience members will wear during the piece.

“Imagined Odyssey” will be performed in Mather Dance Center on the university’s campus. Advance ticket reservations are highly recommended and may be made by calling (216) 368-5246 or placing an order online.
