The dance department’s 2015 fall concert will feature Triptych choreographed by Larry Keigwin. The CWRU performances mark the first time the work will be performed by dancers other than those in Keigwin’s New York based company, Keigwin and Company (K+C). The work – according to Deborah Jowitt at The Village Voice – is “a very fierce dance—fierce and precise, like a martial arts display,” and is set to a percussive score by Jonathan Melville Pratt.

To bring this work to the stage, the department will host Guest Artist-in-Residence and K+C company member Jaclyn Walsh who will work with CWRU graduate and undergraduate dancers for a week of intensive rehearsals this September.
